Supporting people in understanding themselves more deeply so they can create healthier relationships, make intentional choices, and live more authentically.
Welcome to
Illuminative Self-Care Therapy.
At Illuminative Self-Care Therapy (ISCT), therapy is a collaborative process rooted in the belief that you are the expert of your own life. Whether you're navigating relationship challenges, anxiety, life transitions, past experiences, or simply feeling overwhelmed by the weight of it all, therapy offers a space to slow down, reflect, and reconnect with yourself.
Many people come to therapy feeling stuck in patterns they don't fully understand. They find themselves repeating the same cycles, struggling in relationships, questioning their decisions, carrying emotional burdens, or feeling disconnected from the life they want to create. Often, meaningful change begins with awareness. We can't address what we don't understand, and therapy provides a space to explore the experiences, beliefs, and patterns that may be influencing how you move through the world.
At ISCT, the goal is not to tell you who you should be or what you should do. Instead, therapy is a space to help you better understand yourself, strengthen your relationships, navigate life's challenges with greater confidence, and create intentional, lasting change. Together, we will explore what is keeping you stuck, identify what is no longer serving you, and work toward a life that feels more aligned with your values, needs, and goals.
Everyone's journey is unique. Therapy at ISCT is designed to provide a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you can show up as you are, gain insight into your experiences, and take meaningful steps toward growth and healing.
Emphasis on Self-Care.
Self-care isn't just something you do—it's how you care for yourself throughout every area of your life.
What is self-care?
At Illuminative Self-Care Therapy, self-care is more than occasional acts of relaxation or taking time off when you're feeling overwhelmed. True self-care is understanding what you need, recognizing what may be standing in the way of your well-being, and making intentional choices that support the life and relationships you want to create.
Self-care looks different for everyone. For some, it may mean learning to set healthier boundaries. For others, it may involve improving communication in relationships, processing past experiences, managing stress more effectively, prioritizing rest, or creating greater balance in daily life. Self-care is not about perfection—it is about developing awareness and responding to your needs with intention and compassion.
At ISCT, we view self-care through eight interconnected areas of well-being: physical, psychological, emotional, professional, social, environmental, spiritual, and financial. When one or more of these areas is neglected, it can affect how we think, feel, relate to others, and navigate life's challenges.
Therapy provides a space to explore these areas, increase self-awareness, and better understand the patterns influencing your experiences. Together, we can identify what is supporting your well-being, what may be contributing to distress, and how to create sustainable changes that align with your values, goals, and needs.
Because self-care isn't just something you do—it's how you care for yourself throughout every area of your life.
Self-care is more than a checklist.
It's understanding yourself.
It's honoring your needs.
It's creating healthier relationships.
It's learning to show up for yourself differently.
It's building a life that supports your well-being, not just your survival.
